Used TaylorMade Hybrid & Rescue Clubs Overview

TaylorMade to the rescue. That’s been the mantra for millions of golfers since the company introduced its first “rescue club,” aka hybrid, back in 1999. Two decades later, the versatile club’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down. Nor do the technological innovations going into hybrids, which have come miles since the early days.

These must-have clubs make an especially great value when you buy preowned. A used TaylorMade hybrid promises not only nice savings, but may be just what the doctor ordered for your game.

Here at GlobalGolf, you’ll find a great selection of used hybrid golf clubs, including a number of top-selling TaylorMade models. If you don’t see the exact club you want, check back often as our stock of used clubs is constantly refreshed.

Let’s take a look at recent TaylorMade rescue clubs:

    TaylorMade SIM Hybrid (2020)

What separates the SIM and SIM MAX hybrids from previous TaylorMade rescues? They’re the first with a “V Steel” sole, which improves the club’s interaction with the turf for better contact. They also promise super-fast ball speeds for top-tier distance, plus exceptional accuracy thanks to TaylorMade’s unique Twist Face technology.

In addition to the more traditional SIM and SIM MAX clubs, the SIM line includes driving irons called the UDI and DHY. Skilled golfers appreciate these hybrids’ sleek, iron-like appearance and workability when a draw or fade is needed.

    TaylorMade M-Series Hybrids (2017 – 2019)

Launched in 2017 with the TaylorMade M1 and M2 hybrids (as well as drivers, fairway woods and irons), this lineup proved immensely popular before giving way to the SIM series in 2020. Next came the M3, preferred by low handicappers, and the M4, its more forgiving sibling. Finally, the TaylorMade TaylorMade M5 and M6 rescues brought the company’s ballyhooed Twist Face feature to the rescue category.

Pick any M-Series hybrid and you can expect distance, accuracy and consistency to rival any club on the market.

    TaylorMade GAPR Hybrid (2018)

One of the more interesting hybrid lineups out there, TaylorMade’s GAPR series offers something for every golfer. If you need help launching the ball high, the GAPR HI model will fit the bill. For a medium flight, try the GAPR MID. And if you prefer a flatter trajectory, the GAPR LO could be your go-to club. Each version features an adjustable hosel for added versatility.
