Nearly 50 years ago Cobra was founded by Australian Thomas Crow, a company dedicated to crafting clubs to help make the average golfer better.
With longtime ambassador Greg Norman on staff alongside some of the game’s biggest stars including Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson, the Cobra brand is a solid one in terms of technology, innovation, and game-improvement.

And, oh yes, Bryson DeChambeau is bashing his way around golf courses in North American using Cobra clubs, too.
DeChambeau, who has famously added 40 pounds of muscle in 2020 to increase speed and distance and just won the U.S. Open, has been using Cobra clubs since he turned professional. He helped the brand launch its one-length irons (where all the irons are the same as a 7-iron), and is now averaging more than 344 yards per pop off the tee – the longest on the PGA Tour.

Wildly enough, DeChambeau is not only first on the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Off-The-Tee and Approach The Green, he’s 15th in Strokes Gained: Around-The-Green.
Although it’s likely you can’t quite rip it like Lexi or Bryson, GlobalGolf.ca has a ton of a great Cobra Golf options available to check out.
Taking inspiration from a Formula 1 racecar, there are six different zones on the Cobra King SpeedZone driver that helps optimize performance. Both the Cobra King SpeedZone driver and SpeedZone Xtreme driver feature a CNC milled infinity face – which expands the zone of maximum ball speed. While the SpeedZone Xtreme driver has an oversize profile, the Cobra King SpeedZone has a traditional profile and adjustable weight. The Cobra King SpeedZone has a streamlined shape to harness airflow and deliver maximum acceleration power. The drivers are, essentially, designed to go really straight and really fast.
Containing a traditional design that features a slightly shallower face and back weighting, the Cobra King SpeedZone fairway woods provide high, towering trajectories and are easier to launch. The Cobra King SpeedZone fairway woods boast dual baffler rails for excellent speed and stability through the turf while also having the same CNC milled face like the driver. Available in a 3-wood and 5-wood.
Boasting specific zones from the chassis to the exterior to engineer the highest level of performance, the Cobra King SpeedZone hybrid rounds out the SpeedZone metalwoods line. The SpeedZone hybrid also has a high MOI with a refined shape including a square leading edge for straighter and longer ball flight. Like the other metalwoods in the SpeedZone line, the King SpeedZone hybrid also has Cobra Connect powered by Arccos Golf where you can track accuracy and distance using the Arccos Caddie app on your smart phone.
Fusing a classic look with modern technology the King Forged Tec irons unleash a blend of playability and length with a look that is preferred by better players. The King Forged Tec irons have a forged-face insert and muscle-back shape that create a larger sweet spot. Other features of the King Forged Tec irons include tungsten weighting, hollow construction, and a foam-infused core for more distance.
Designed to help golfers hit their iron shots longer and straighter, the Cobra King SpeedZone irons deliver ultra-low CG for maximum launch and speed. The topline is made of carbon in the Cobra King SpeedZone irons, which is 40 percent lighter than steel – that’ll help move the centre of gravity lower and increase ball speed. The King SpeedZone irons also boast Pwrshell technology to help with explosive launch off the face, and a SpeedBack shape, which helps with stability and accuracy.
The T-Rail hybrid iron set provides forgiveness and distance for golfers looking to get more out of their games. The hollow construction in the Cobra T-Rail hybrid irons give every club the power of a hybrid-like launch and distance, while baffler rails allow the club to glide through grass. A forged E9 face in the Cobra T-Rail helps ensure that even on off-centre hits you’re getting great distance.
