Cobra is building off its incredibly successful Darkspeed line with the next big thing in distance and accuracy with the Darkspeed Adapt line.
And the upcoming new release is all about adjustability.
The family of woods, hybrids, and irons are chalk full of new innovations including the FutureFit33 adjustable hosel, which is set to help golfers of all skill levels to, well, adapt, to whatever conditions they play in – all in the name of shooting lower scores.
The FutureFit33 adjustable hosel features 33 unique loft & lie settings to unlock more customization options than ever before. For the very first time, loft and lie can be adjusted plus-or-minus two degrees independently from each other – which allows for more fine-tuned fitting customization. The innovative SmartPad design also enables the face angle to remain square, regardless of the setting.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Cobra drivers, Cobra fairway woods, Cobra Irons, and Cobra Hybrids.
DRIVERS
There are four versions of the Cobra Darkspeed Adapt driver – the LS, the X, the Max-D, and the Max-K, each with the new FutureFit33 adjustable hosel.
The X is built for Tour-level players and amateurs who are seeking a fast, low-spin head offering high launch and forgiveness. It boasts a new internal adaptive weighting system, a larger HOT face insert, a more extreme aero design (for further drag reduction to maximize speed) and Tour-inspired shaping.

The LS has the same Tour-inspired shape but is meant for better players who demand low spin and low launch for maximum control and workability.

The Max-K achieves 10,000 combined MOI, making it the most forgiving and straightest flying driver ever. Using an external fixed back weight and internal back weight pad to position the CG as low and back as possible – plus a refined clubhead shape that blends forgiveness with speed for an elevated look at address that is confidence inspiring – this is the most stable and forgiving Cobra driver head.

The Max-D, meanwhile, delivers draw-bias – thanks to a fixed heel weight position – and impressive stability in a low-to-mid spin design to help increase distance.

FAIRWAY WOODS
There are three models in the new Cobra Darkspeed Adapt line, which, like the drivers, all feature the new FutureFit33 adjustable hosel – with impressive adjustability in the fairway woods for the first time.
The X model of the Cobra Darkspeed Adapt fairway wood is designed with shot-making in mind for golfers of all levels, with plenty of forgiveness to make golfers’ long games more consistent.

The LS model has a Tour-validated look and feel at address that delivers driver-like performance. The refined clubhead shape helps promote precise shot shaping.

IRONS
For the Darkspeed Adapt irons, Cobra has two iron models. The Adapt irons boast the largest Speedshell face insert, hollow construction, and re-engineered adaptive PWR-BRIDGE weighting that helps to deliver Cobra’s longest iron yet. The larger insert coupled with HOT Face Technology means 23 percent more face flex than the previous Darkspeed irons which means golfers get higher launch, faster speed, and even more distance.
The Adapt Max irons are a game-improvement set with a slightly larger profile to help boost forgiveness. Built for golfers with slower swing speeds, the Max irons – which feature all the same tech was the Adapt irons – have a lightweight configuration and 2-degree weaker lofts, which means easy launch without sacrificing speed and distance.

HYBRIDS
The Darkspeed Adapt hybrid blends high launch and extra distance to help provide more forgiveness on longer approach shots plus ultimate adaptability across different lies. There is a new internal weighting system that features a re-engineered PWR-BRIDGE – that means the CG is lower and more forward to reduce spin. A slightly larger address profile helps provide more forgiveness with increased stability and higher launch.
